Frequently asked questions
Does this use the official WhatsApp Business API?
Yes. ChalkPis uses the official WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta). Messages send from your verified school business number and are not at risk of being blocked.
Is there a message limit?
Limits depend on your WhatsApp Business API tier. ChalkPis does not add any limit. Schools with larger parent populations are moved to higher-tier API access as needed.
Can teachers message parents without sharing phone numbers?
Yes. All messaging between teachers and parents happens within the ChalkPis app. Neither party can see the other's personal phone number.
Can we send documents and images?
Yes. Circulars, timetables, result PDFs, and images can be attached to any message. File size limit is 16 MB per message.
