Yes. Students log in with their own account and search the library catalogue to check availability before visiting. Available copies show in real time.
Can we import an existing catalogue?
Yes. ChalkPis accepts Excel imports for bulk catalogue upload. Required fields are title, author, and ISBN. Our team can assist with formatting.
Does ChalkPis support barcode scanning?
Yes. Scan book barcodes with the camera on any iOS or Android device to issue or return books. No separate barcode hardware required.
How are library fines collected?
Library fines appear as a fee head in the student's account. Parents pay through the fee module in the app, or they are collected at the counter and marked paid manually.
