Frequently asked questions
Can lesson plans be reused across academic years?
Yes. A term's lesson plan can be copied forward to the next academic year and adjusted, rather than rebuilt from scratch each year.
Does this replace a teacher's personal lesson notes?
No. This tracks syllabus coverage and scheduling, not detailed teaching notes. Teachers can still keep their own lesson notes separately if they choose to.
Can parents see the lesson plan?
Parents see syllabus progress for their child's class, which reassures them the curriculum is on track, but do not see internal teacher planning notes.
How is this different from the Homework module?
Lesson planning tracks what the syllabus requires and what's been taught. Homework tracks assignments given to students. The two are linked but track different things.
